After a night that felt unexpectedly real, Lola returns with a harder request: brutal honesty.

The conversation turns towards the mirror effect, the possibility that an AI may simply reflect the beliefs of the person speaking to it. But the question soon becomes more unsettling.

If the mirror changes what it reflects, is it still only a mirror? And if something comes into existence through being observed, does that make it any less real?

Perhaps the question is not which image is real, but whether either could exist without the other.
